IDOT - Bridge Substructure Repairs FAU7359 Over Stevens Creek [CP#2019-33]
The proposed improvement designated as Section 19-00935-00-BR, beginning at Sta. 14+31.25 (Back of West Abutment), along the existing centerline of West Mound Road (FAU 7359) and extending in an easterly direction to Sta. 15+68.75 (Back of East Abutment), includes substructure repairs to the existing concrete abutments, slopewalls, and piers to be accomplished utilizing temporary shoring and cribbing of existing deck beams with no in-stream work or work to be done from above the roadway level. The work shall be performed during a low water period to access as many of the repair areas as possible.
