Decatur Housing Authority - Hartford Addition Window Replacement and Exterior Improvements

The work of this contract includes: replacement of windows at trash and elevator lobbies; replacement of entry doors at North entry vestibule; painting of EIFS systems at all locations on building exterior; replacement of sealant at all joints at windows, doors, louvers, EIFS panels, expansion joints, etc.; cleaning and sealing of brick and related masonry; painting of all existing balcony railings; and painting of all existing exterior hollow metal doors and frames; all as described and shown in the Contract Documents, prepared by Alliance Architecture, 929 Lincolnway East, Suite 200, South Bend, Indiana 46601.

Bid Documents will require a refundable deposit of $25 per set for printed copies (maximum 3 sets; plus shipping if applicable); “Central Illinois Builders’ Non-Cash Security Method for Request of Documents” will be accepted on this project. Checks shall be made payable to Decatur Housing Authority. Please choose the “Check (or Bidders Card)” for payment option during checkout. Digital-only copy of the bid documents are available for $50 non-refundable cost.

NOTE: Do not purchase the download-only option if you are choosing the refundable deposit set. Digital purchases are a non-refundable, out-of-pocket expense.

There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held at 1:00 p.m., local time, April 18, 2023. The meeting will be held at the site, 1096 W. Decatur Street, Decatur, Illinois. (Entrance on North side near canopy). All principal subcontractors are strongly encouraged to visit the site to review the scope of work. Interested parties are to call the office of the Architect (574-288-2052) to confirm attendance.
